Anniversary trip to see the Angels play in Cincinnati, OH!

Barbourville?  Who knew?

A cute Amish store and Deli.

A new state for us!

Tickets to see the Angels!!!
On our way...

Horses all over Kentucky!
Crossing the river into Cincinnati!

Our disappointing Hotel!

Ken on the street ...walking to the stadium!

We can not wait to get to the ballpark!

There it is!!!!  Old Riverfront Stadium!

I wonder who we are rooting for!

So cool!

"My" Big Red Machine

Waiting to go into the stadium.

We were so surprised to see so many Angel fans!  We had  fun conversations with them...and we realized what a BOND fellow Angels fans, have!  It feels like family when you run into them in enemy territory!

Checking out the stadium during batting practice!

Oh ya!

Great America Ballpark is beautiful. Loved looking out and seeing the river!

Angel Batting practice

I think it is so great that they do this!

In my "happy place"

This is hilarious!  While getting our dinner at the concession stand...they shot video and I ended up on the jumbo tron!

Opening day intros

Trout!

Gorgeous!

GAME 2...Let's get a WIN!

Look Louise!  It's so cold, I actually got a Starbuck's coffee!

Walking to game 2

More Angels fans....more fun conversations...waiting to get in!

It was so cold ..even at the day game!

SO excited!

Just me and Johnny Bench!

My sweetheart!

We better win or I might cry!

We really did have a fantastic time in Cincinnati!  We are loving seeing new ballparks and cities.  The people of Cincy were so friendly!  But...we have decided we could be JINX-ing the Angels!  The last 2 years they have lost both games we travel to see!  First in Tampa...then in Cincinnati!  Next Spring, we will wait until May to see them.  That way they might be settled into a winning streak!  GO ANGELS!
After the second game ( and loss) we walked to the Skyline Chili place and tried famous Cincinnati chili.  Honestly, we didn't care for the taste! But we were glad to have tried it!

My chili over spaghetti

Ken got chili dog sliders

Lovely!

Afterwards...we were told we HAD to get ice cream at Graeters.  It was pretty darn yummy!

We walked off our dinner and ice cream with a walk on the skywalk thru the hotels .

A cool old building with so much architectural character! Notice it was built in 1879!
