Tuesday, May 13th we got up early and left the house @4am. We were on the road for an hour, headed for Chattanooga- when we realized we FORGOT Grma! so...we looped back home and added 3 hrs to our 13 hour driving day! GRRR! We traveled a different route- going through, Kentucky, and Missouri. We did make good time and arrived in Grove, OK at 7-ish. We hadn't seen Vicki and Ron's lake cabins. They had a delish steak dinner waiting for us! Their cabins are great! Ron has done a lot of work to make them very nice. While walking down to the boat dock, I slipped and fell! It was drizzly and cold and I had flip flops on. OUCH! The lake looked beautiful. The next day, we headed to Claremore, and we stayed the 2nd night there. We got to see Tim & Natalie's home and had a BBQ there. Fun times! We got up early ( 3:30 am) to hit the road to Flagstaff, AZ.
