June 26-28, 2014~ First trip with the R-POD~ The Great Smoky Mtns!

We couldn't have asked for a better "maiden voyage" with our new R-POD! We packed up and left around 9:30am. The girls loved traveling in their cozy bed. We arrived around 12:30 and the Cherokee KOA was gorgeous! There was a beautiful river that ran right near our site! It is a BIG campground with LOTS to offer! We started setting up and to our amazement, the awning room went up quickly and smoothly!  YAY!  Actually, our whole trip went fantastic!  We were both so pleased with the trailer. The girls settled in and remembered how to be good camp dogs. They loved taking walks ( Bella had to have her "caution yellow ribbon" tied to her leash! :-)
We BBQed steaks and chicken and hot dogs for lunch.  Every night we played Yahtzee I won the first night and Ken won the second.  We can not wait to go out again!
