We were super excited to get away on our first camping trip of the year! We traveled to Creekwood Resort , near Helen...a little over an hour north. We LOVED this campground!!! It is cozy and beautiful and friendly! The owners, Melissa and Robert were really friendly! By the time we left, we felt like we have known them for months! We will definitely be regulars here! Our new EZ up awning worked great!! We also discovered this little cabin that would be perfect for Mom to come camping at times!
On Friday, we drove to Brasstown Bald, The highest mountain in GA. It had spectacular views and you could see 4 states from the top! It was so cold up there that I had to buy a jacket to wear over my sweatshirt!
Honestly, we weren't ready to come home....but we'll be back!
