A month of Vacation....The first leg- Texas and Cali

 We left home on Sunday , Sept. 27th.  We took a new route to Cali...I-20 to Texas! We met up with Lee & Carolyn who had just moved there!  We had a great Mexican dinner and got to see the home they hoped to buy! It was a fun stop on a long road trip!

A night in Tucumcari, N.M. and then we headed to Cali.

 Our first stop was 2 nights in Yucca Valley with Jim & Shelley!  We kinda celebrated Shell's 60th! It was a great time together!

Next stop...Alta Loma, and 2 nights with the Murdocks. That Friday, Paul & Vicki had us over for a BBQ with Doug and Don Smith. They were down because Jack Wenger had died suddenly and his memorial was Sat.
Ken got to have some great "old friends" time.
 I got to have lunch with 2 of my sweetest friends...Becky & Vicky!
