Minihaha Falls Adventure

So, Ken and I took off to find Minihaha Falls and ended up having quite the adventure!  We followed the directions given us and felt like we were on a wild goose chase.  Finally, after being on roads we didn't even know the names of, we were ready to give up.  We were on a dirt road and saw a lady outside of her house in a tiny community.  We asked her where the Falls were and she pointed the direction we were going!  She said look for the Minihaha scratched into the wooden rail and you'll know you're there! Seriously, no official sign, or parking or lodge, or fee...just a pull out in the road and this rustic sign and a path to follow!  BOY was it worth the perserverance!!!!

Then....you turn the corner and view this spectacular cascading Falls!  Just gorgeous!!!

Breathtaking and so peaceful! 

From there we went over to Tallulah Falls  ( super close) We had a little lunch snack and I got this picture of the bloom of a Red Bud tree

We've been to Tallulah Falls a few times but never hiked to the lookout #1.....so, we did this time!

It was really a beautiful day...check out that sky!

This picture makes me so happy...I love trees, blue sky, and God's majesty!

Me at Minihaha...don't know why it ended up here!  We had such a fun day!  We stopped at Jaemor Farms on the way home and bought some fresh veggies!  It was a perfect Monday!
